Onetouch Verio Reflect:
Understanding your blood glucose levels isn’t something you should do once and never look at again. Instead, it’s essential to keep up to date with your blood sugar readings so you can identify problems sooner, including diabetes. There are many ways to take your blood sugar levels, but today we’re going to talk about the OneTouch Verio Reflect and how to use it properly, and most importantly, the review of the one-touch verio.
Onetouch Verio Reflect Unboxing:
After Unboxing the OneTouch Verio Reflect glucometer, you will find the quick guide and a User manual; the glucose meter is enclosed in a case.
Open the casing and take out the Onetouch verio meter. The lancet pen is also there, and I will teach you here how to use that also. But, first, we have to make settings in the glucose meter.
Setting in the Onetouch Verio:
Press the “OK” button on the meter, and it will turn on.
- Chose the language English or your native language.
- Set the time and dates.
- Set low/ high sugar levels.
- Set daily Sugar testing goals.
- Set the three months trend with your physician’s advice.
- You can set emoji notifications or with messages on the display
- You can edit the settings anytime you want.

Preparing lancet:
Before inserting the Onetouch strip into the meter, better to set the lancet needle.
Take out the lancet needle and open the lancet pen cap. Make lose the needle before insertion and then insert into the pen. Puch slowly and remove the outer needle cap by rotating. Then close the pen cap and select the suitable needle size for you.
Make ready the Meter strips:

Insert the OneTouch strip in the meter correctly.
Then, when the meter displays the sign of the lancet and points to put the droplet, it’s ready.
Pricking the finger for blood droplets:
Wash your hands and clean the finger with an alcohol swab; wait for a few seconds and let the alcohol get dry because it can interfere with the sugar result.
Prick the finger side because it’s less painful.
Then squeeze the droplet.
When you get a blood droplet, keep the Strip beside the droplet and never put the droplet above the Strip.
Blood sugar testing:
The OneTouch verio meter will start blood sugar testing and will give results in a few seconds.
After getting results, you have to choose the most critical option; After a meal or before a meal. Then the meter will display whether the blood sugar is normal or elevated.

Checking blood sugar levels with OneTouch Verio Reflect glucometer at home is effortless. In addition, Onetouch Verio Reflect gives an accurate blood sugar level.
The blood sugar levels chart is set by default, and the results will be compared; if the blood sugar level is high, then the glucometer will give notification with a high blood sugar level, and the same if blood sugar is low, the glucometer will provide information of low blood sugar level. If the blood sugar level is normal, the glucometer will message a normal blood sugar level. I found this glucose meter accurate as compared to others in the market.
